Welcome to the Best
Of The West Futurity Series. Our program is open to stallions standing
in or owned by people who live in the state of Utah. In 2009 we awarded
over $10,000 in futurity purses. Also we awarded 2 embroidered blankets
and 4 Gist buckles. In 2010 we will add a three-year-old reining
Futurity in addition to our weanling and yearling halter, yearling lunge
line, and 2 YO Western Pleasure futurity. Please join us and help us
make this the largest paying futurity program in the state of Utah!!
We also offer Weanling and Yearling Slot Class that don’t have
restrictions on them. They are open to any yearling or weanling. Please
see the Slot rules and call or email for further details.
In 2009 we offered a Weanling and a Yearling Poor Boy Futurity. We will
be offering these two futurities again but now as the: Amateur/Non-Pro
Jackpot. The GOAL of the Best of the Amateur/Non-Pro Jackpot is to help
promote the horse industry by developing an additional venue for horses
and owners to compete in a non-intimidating amateur/non-pro class that
offers financial reward and recognition.
We do not pro-rate prize money, we pay it all out
and you take home a check on futurity day!!!
